However, Netflix's Purple Hearts has proven to be such a huge success that fans are now questioning if she's as in love as her character Cassie is in the romantic film.

Carson is a private person, and she has not posted or commented on an alleged boyfriend. In January of 2022, in an interview with Extra, she said that her managing to keep her personal life private is "absolutely intentional."
"To me, it's about my art and the music and the films that I put out into the world and not about my personal life.
"I still do love sharing personal moments that are special to me with fans, but it was definitely a choice to keep my private life private because it's not what this is about for me. It's about more than that."

However, in 2016, Carson was rumored to be dating Manolo Gonzalez, Sofía Vergara's son. She posted an image of her and Gonzalez in 2016 hugging, with the caption "about last night."
Then, in 2018, Gonzalez posted a video of him doing squats while holding Carson, however neither Gonzalez nor Carson have confirmed or denied the relationship.
What Has Carson Said About Dating?
Since that post, Carson has not been linked to anyone else, and it would appear she is single, but this can't be confirmed or denied.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2019, she said she did not want to be involved with anyone in the entertainment industry:
She said at the time: "I've never tried dating apps. I made a decision about two years ago that I don't want to date anyone in the [entertainment] business. So as you can imagine, that makes it a little bit difficult. For now, it's easier to focus on work and friends. "I'm dating my career. I'm sure you are as well."
Carson has also expressed how important her music is to her, as well as the singers that influenced her, such as Britney Spears. She said that "Britney was part of my childhood and was one of the first introductions to the world of pop music."
