Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will open up her third store of The Snooki Shop in the town where she became a reality television show superstar, Seaside Heights, New Jersey. However, what began as an online retailer became a brick-and-mortar reality in 2018 in the town of Madison, New Jersey. The first location’s subsequent success led Polizzi to open a second store in Beacon, New York, not far from where she grew up in Marlboro. However, this third location allows the reality television star to return to her roots to speak, with a store featuring items handpicked by the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star.
Nicole Polizzi became a fashion trendsetter upon ‘Jersey Shore’s’ success
Along with the notoriety that came with starring in the most popular MTV series of all time, Polizzi suddenly found herself thrust into the fashion spotlight with her clothing choices back in 2009.
Known for leopard prints, tight clothing that showed off a lot of skin, trucker hats, and fuzzy boots, Polizzi’s fashion sense spawned an entire community of young girls who wanted to dress similarly.
Moreover, both her website and store cater to this clientele and young mothers who are looking for fashion that is fun, affordable, and comfortable.
Similarly, shopping at Polizzi’s stores is an experience where lavishly decorated dressing rooms allow shoppers to feel like stepping into an exclusive boutique.
Nicole Polizzi announced she would open a Seaside Heights location of The Snooki Shop in Spring 2022
Firstly, in an Instagram post dated Jan. 13, Polizzi announced she would open a third store in Seaside Heights.
Secondly, in the caption, she asked her followers to “tag and tell all your Mawma’s.”
Finally, Polizzi revealed the third location would arrive in the Spring of this year.
The new store is located on the borough’s Boulevard, not the iconic boardwalk where Polizzi and her castmates Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, Deena Cortese and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola partied for six seasons.
The Asbury Park Press reported on the new store and spoke to Seaside Heights Borough Administrator Christopher Vaz via email where he welcomed Polizzi to the town as a business owner.
“The mayor and borough council welcome Nicole and her fashion boutique store to the Seaside Heights business community,” he said.
“As elected leaders and local business owners jointly continue the hard work of redeveloping the Boulevard and transforming Seaside Heights, we are pleased to have Nicole on board for the journey. Messy Mawma is a smart young businesswoman with a great vision for her brand!”
She shared advice for other small business owners
Polizzi shared her advice for small business owners to ABC News in 2018 upon opening her first store.
“I always wanted to do my store but I never had the time,” the reality star explained.
“I love clothes, so I thought just opening my store would be a dream come true.”
However, Polizzi makes sure her fashion is affordable, so customers keep coming back.
“I made sure the prices were affordable because many boutiques have crazy out there prices. My demographic is really [ages] 18-30,” Polizzi explained.
“I know kids are in school. They have bills to pay. I get it. With [The Snooki Shop], I didn’t even think about it, and I just went in, and it’s more successful than I thought it would be. So, don’t overthink what you want to do and just go for it,” she concluded.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is currently on hiatus.
