Victim: Stacy DiJulius was accidentally  run over during an argument with her alleged lover - who then shot himself

A man fatally shot himself in the head moments after accidentally running over his ‘lover’, police have confirmed today.

The pair, who were rumoured to be having affair, were seen arguing in a car park after drinking at a bar in Sagamore Hills, about 20 miles (30 kilometers) south of Cleveland, minutes before the incident.

According to a police spokesman, Erich Schultz, 38, tried to drive away from Stacy DiJulius, 39, during the row.

However she attempted to enter the vehicle as it moved and fell under one of the tires of the Jeep.

After witnessing the extent of her injuries, Schultz walked back to his vehicle, pulled out a small handgun and shot himself in the head as paramedics arrived to tend to DiJulius, added Summit County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Cottle.

DiJulius, 39, died at a hospital after Saturday night's accident while Schultz died on Sunday.

Both DiJulius and Schultz were married. DiJulius and her husband John own the popular John Robert's Spa chain in the Cleveland area.
