Congratulations! X Men director Bryan Singer and his best friend Michelle Clunie have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The delighted dad made the announcement with a photograph of the happy trio taken moments after his birth, with Singer still in scrubs while Queer as Folk actress Clunie cradles her newborn son.
"Michelle Clunie and I would like to welcome our beautiful son Dashiell Julius William Clunie-Singer into the world :)," the proud dad captioned the intimate family snap which he shared via Twitter in the late hours of Monday, Jan. 5.
Singer, 49, and Clunie, 44, have been close pals for the past 25 years, and released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter back in October announcing their happy baby news.

"Mother and father are both very excited about the upcoming birth and look forward to co-parenting the child together," the statement read "The pair have been planning this baby for years and have been trying for the last two."
Although Singer and Clunie are not romantically involved now, they do have a history together. In May of last year, Singer spoke to Out magazine about his bisexuality. And while he concluded he'd probably end up in a relationship with a man, he has had a number of female partners, including Clunie, who was his first serious girlfriend.
